What is Friends of FARQ?

Join me and some special guests at the first Friends of FARQ event...

Written by: Georgia Farquharson

At FARQ, our core business values are Community, Support and Education.

‍

But one thing that has plagued me for a while is that Creator Education is not a core value or even something offered at many other Talent Agencies. And unfortunately we cannot represent everyone at FARQ.

‍

Which means there are still a huge pool of established Content Creators and up-and-coming ones that don’t have access to educational resources and strategic business advice.

‍

As founder and CEO of FARQ, I head up Talent Acquisition and speak with *so* many creators on a weekly and monthly basis - lots of whom we’re unable to exclusively sign to FARQ’s roster for various reasons.

‍

And for a while now I’ve felt pulled to create something outside of FARQ that allows me to bring my passion and commitment to Creator Education to the wider industry.

‍

Which is why I have launched Friends of FARQ.

‍

‍

Friends of FARQ is a new venture set up by me to ensure Creator Education is accessible to everyone - not just those exclusively represented by FARQ.

‍

And it's just a week until our first event.

‍

One of the biggest things I’ve noticed after years of working with creators is that this industry can be incredibly lonely.

‍

We’re surrounded by people online, but when it comes to making big business decisions, navigating algorithm changes or figuring out what’s next, most creators are doing it alone.

‍

That’s exactly why I created Friends of FARQ and our first event, The Creator Lunch, is happening in just one weeks time.

‍

‍

I’m bringing together just 20 creators for an intimate morning of conversation, connection and learning over lunch.

‍

Together with a handful of brilliant guest speakers, we’ll be exploring one of the biggest challenges facing creators today: how to build a creator business that doesn’t rely on a single income stream.

‍

Creators will leave with:

‍

-Practical ideas for diversifying your revenue beyond brand partnerships

-Honest conversations with creators who get it

-Time with me and the FARQ team to ask questions and share ideas

-New connections with people who genuinely get what it’s like to build a creator business\

‍

This isn’t a conference. There are no huge stages or awkward networking sessions.

‍

Just a carefully curated room of people who believe in sharing ideas and supporting one another.

‍

There are now just 4 tickets remaining, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!

‍

Secure your seat here.
